The University of Calgary Petroleum and Energy Society (PES) is a non-profit organization run by undergraduate students with the fundamental purpose of creating an informed, knowledgeable, and connected student workforce in the oil and gas industry.

PES is proud to represent the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) as the largest student chapter in Canada. PES's partnership with SPE gives students access to a huge network of industry professionals, publications, workshops, and presentations.

The Petroleum & Energy Society is hosting our second annual ENERGY PANEL & MIXER ON APRIL 11. This year, our theme is Alberta's Energy Future: Sustaining Our Industry Through Leadership and Policy. Our goal is to connect students with professionals to discuss solutions to the challenges facing Alberta's energy industry.
