Currently on internship at TransCanada, Bita understands the value of industry experience and is committed to helping students gain insight into the engineering world while learning practical skills. As an internship representative, Bita looks forward to providing students with opportunities to attend lunch & learns’, site visits and networking events. Bita believes it is up to this generation of engineers to tackle global energy problems and believes PES will provide students with the necessary skills and connections to do so. Bita currently volunteers with the United Nations and hopes to one day become a member of United Nations Environment Programme, a sector devoted to improving energy efficiency worldwide.
