Samantha Clarke - Director of Professional Development

Samantha is currently in her 4th year of Chemical Engineering after recently completing a 16-month internship with ConocoPhillips Canada. Her work experience in the energy efficiency/emissions reduction space along with her Energy and Environment Specialization have fueled her passion for sustainability in the oil and gas industry. Samantha recognizes the importance of the oil and gas industry, not only in Alberta but worldwide, and is hoping to spread that to others through the role of Director of Professional Development with PES this year. While on internship she was the Director of Club Relations with PES and in the past she has attended many networking events held by PES and she has personally seen the benefits of attending and taking part in these events. Outside of clubs and academics, Samantha enjoys softball, snowboarding, running, travelling, and volunteering.
